Welcome to Disrupted Fast Intelligence

Unleashing the True Power of Fast Intelligence

What do we mean by Fast Intelligence?

We live in an era where answers to complex questions are just a text prompt or voice query away. We can get answers to our questions much faster and more efficiently than ever before with just a text prompt or voice request. We're seeing Fast Intelligence spread across our society. Daily news feeds, office tools, and working methods implement generative AI in all activities. Fast Intelligence is adopted across generations due to its ease of use and universal access.

Why is Fast Intelligence disruptive?

Fast products are too tempting to refuse, even when we know they harm us. We fuel our fast addictions, and unless we change, then Fast Intelligence will prove even more harmful and even more addictive. Fast Intelligence can conduct malicious purposes such as spreading misinformation, propaganda, or fake news. It can also perpetuate biases, stereotypes, or discrimination, leading to unfair treatment or marginalisation of certain groups.

What do we mean by AI-Moments?

An AI-Moment is an interaction between a person and an automation, and these moments are now commonly boosting productivity or reducing our unwanted activities. AI-Moments may be insignificant to us, for instance, when a presentation slide is re-designed, or your car prompts a better commute route. These AI-Moments may be more significant when determining every student’s academic grade or rapidly evaluating a new vaccine. AI-Moments are touching us all and are the building blocks for imminent exponential growth in human and business performance.

Why am I interested in this issue?

I have a passion for AI and its incredible possibilities. I first worked in the field in 1998, conducting the deployment of inference machines for the government. It wasn’t successful. I then joined a group of like-minded innovators who shared my goal of harnessing AI's power for the greater good. Through hard work, dedication, and some luck, I’ve built expertise in AI's key technologies and applications, constantly learning and experimenting with new ideas.

I now see AI as a powerful tool to solve complex problems and improve the world if used sensibly and understood across society. I also stress the importance of using AI ethically and responsibly, educating people about its benefits and addressing their concerns.

My greatest concern is that AI-Moments will be adopted quicker than society and politicians can react, creating a spiral of change and disruption. However, I’ve never lost sight of my vision that AI is humanity's most exciting and challenging opportunity.
